Sometimes we will tilt the camera when taking the photo to achieve a different look. In this photo I tilted the camera to the left to put the couple in the right third of the frame. Then the background of repeating lines is at a diagonal slant allowing you to see more of the brick building behind the couple. The bride and groom are still the main focus of the picture while the background is complimenting the couple. We of course do not tilt every photo, but it often makes a unique image that is included in the couple's portfolio. San Francisco city hall is also a place where we will try to do photos like this on occasion. This couple booked us for some outdoor images after their city hall ceremony.
