A San Francisco City Hall Wedding Love Story

Military Couple Nuptials

We had a wonderful time photographing Amanda and Michael on their city hall wedding day. They booked our Popular City Hall "Extra" Package so we spent quite a bit of time taking photos of them with their family and friends after the ceremony. If you have 2-6 guests we recommend you book this 1.5 hour package to allow plenty of time for the ceremony, family photos and the formal photo city hall photo tour. It is nearly impossible to obtain great photos and also include your family and friends without stretching the package to 1.5 hours. To further explain, it obviously does not take an extra half hour to photograph a few guests. The extra 30 minutes provides other advantages over our Elopement package. The fact is, when you have guests you are going to want to spend sometime talking to them, interacting and receiving congratulatory hugs, etc. The best San Francisco city hall wedding package for you should provide ample time for this and still give us time to take you around the building to obtain amazing pictures. We do not want to whisk you away from from your guests the moment the ceremony is done. In this particular case it was even more important not to rush things since we discovered that the groom was going to be deployed soon on assignment in the military.

SF City Hall Wedding Photography Tour

We followed up the guest photos by taking the couple throughout the building for great pictures. We took them to all 4 floors of this magnificent building and put them in some fun and creative poses. The newlyweds let us know up front that they really loved the architecture at city hall so we made sure to provide them with plenty of wide angle lens shots on the 4th floor and Mayor's Balcony. To do this, we even used our fish eye lens for many of the photos. We completed the photoshoot with a capture in front of the building in front of the iconic City Hall sign. We decided to have the groom lift the bride to recall one of the scenes from a very popular movie that was inline with their military theme. Whenever possible, we try to cater our San Francisco city hall wedding photography to the personalities and backgrounds of our newlyweds.
