George and John - SF City Hall Wedding

We really enjoyed photographing George and John for their San Francisco city hall wedding. They were a very pleasant couple who treated us extremely well. We really enjoyed their company as we covered their Same-Sex wedding from start to finish. They wanted to get some shots in other parts of the city after we completed the SF City Hall portion of their wedding photography package. So next up was the iconic Palace of Fine Arts. Definitely our most popular destination after our Town Hall weddings. We drove them in our car to POFA and started our shoot there. We spent quite a bit of time there, taking them around the entire grounds and getting some nice posed wedding images. The photo above was one of their favorites, which wasn't posed at all. It was just the 2 of them taking a moment together. We are all very grateful that Same-Sex / Gay-Lesbian weddings are finally legal in California. I heard from George recently and he told me that they still look at their photos on a regular basis, bringing back fond memories. It was a beautiful day at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
